Embryos are cultured in multi-gas benchtop incubators up to Day 5, reaching over 100 cells. Blastocyst transfers provide higher physiological implantation rates compared to cleavage-stage Day 3 transfers.

Initial Fertility Evaluation & Diagnostics

Day 1 - 3 of Menstrual Cycle

Comprehensive assessment of ovarian reserve (AMH, Baseline Antral Follicle Count on USG), hormonal profiling, and male semen analysis including Sperm DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI).

Conducted under Dr. Shelly Kushwaha with personalized consultation and transparent treatment planning.

Controlled Ovarian Stimulation

10 to 12 Days

Daily individualized gonadotropin injections to stimulate the ovaries to mature multiple healthy eggs instead of just one.

Monitored closely via serial transvaginal follicular ultrasounds and serum estradiol levels to prevent ovarian hyperstimulation (OHSS).

Ovum Pick-Up (Egg Retrieval)

Day 12 - 14 (34-36 hrs post-trigger)

A minor, painless 15-minute daycare procedure performed under gentle intravenous sedation via transvaginal ultrasound guidance. No incisions or stitches.

Eggs are immediately transferred into warm culture media inside Omkilkari's Class-1000 Cleanroom Embryology Laboratory.

Fertilization via ICSI or Advanced IVF

Day of Retrieval

For each mature egg, a single healthy, structurally normal sperm is selected and micro-injected directly into the egg cytoplasm using our high-precision Narishige micromanipulator.

Ensures optimal fertilization rates especially for borderline semen parameters, thick zona pellucida, or prior IVF failures.

Blastocyst Culture & Laser Assisted Hatching

Day 3 to Day 5/6

Embryos are nurtured in specialized sequential media in benchtop incubators replicating natural fallopian conditions until they reach the advanced Day-5 Blastocyst stage.

Where indicated, ultra-precise diode laser hatching is applied to the outer shell (zona pellucida) to facilitate smooth uterine implantation.

Embryo Transfer or Cryopreservation

Day 5 (Fresh) or Scheduled Frozen Cycle

Under abdominal ultrasound guidance, 1 or 2 top-grade blastocysts are gently placed into the receptive uterine cavity with a soft catheter. No anaesthesia needed.

Surplus healthy blastocysts are vitrified (flash-frozen at -196°C) for future family building without repeating egg retrieval.

Luteal Phase Support & Pregnancy Confirmation

14 Days Post-Transfer

Progesterone and supportive medication to nurture the uterine endometrium. Serum Beta-hCG blood test is taken 14 days post-transfer to confirm successful pregnancy.
